According to the "Darigold failed to follow proper operating, maintenance and notificatiojn procedures during a February 2007 milk spill that dischargeds polluted water to the cityof Lynden. The spill cause the wastewater treatment plant to resulting in the releaseof polluted, mostly untreatede sewage to the Nooksack River. ... Darigold also violatec its water-quality permit six times between August and Octoberf 2006 by discharging water containingvsuspended solids. In addition, in Novembed 2006, Darigold discharged water with a temperature of 100 degreese directly into theNooksack River.
