Located at 3632 Queen Palm Drive in the Sabal ParkCorporate Center, the 81,500-square-foot Tampa Studentf Educational Center doubles the university’s Tampa space, said Ken Ma, associatre director at NSU’s office of public The center previously occupied 41,179 square feet at the Sabal Park Plazs Building. The expansion will create 30 jobs, includintg positions in teaching, operationw and management. It is expected to have a $12 millio economic impact, Ma said.
The new facility has a capacity of upto 2,000 students and offers 18 degree programs, includiny business administration, education and speech-language In addition, the center will introduce NSU’s new 27-month anesthesiologist assistant program, whic will launch with 26 students. The facility’xs classrooms will feature videoconferencing health care simulation computer labs and wirelessInternetr connection. A grand opening ceremony for the center is scheduled from5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 4.
