Projects that received awardsa are required to put up at leasy 20 percent of the cost inmatchinf funds. The grant program look specifically at public and privats diesel equipment owners in Ohio counties that fall short of airqualituy standards. The largest grant among the 16 went to the and to refiy four locomotives withnew engines. That Cincinnati-area project was awardefd $4.6 million.
