National Law Journal reportexd six firms cut 700jobs – attorneys and staffersz – giving rise to the term Black Thursday for the legap industry. Holland & Knight said it slashefd 70 lawyers and 173 suppor staff positions inthe firm'z 21 offices. The firm ranked fourth in the ’x top law firms in 2008, with 70 staff in Centraol Florida and 393attorneys statewide.
