The union and its supporters, the and the , for montha have advocated a boycott ofthe hotel'zs rooms and restaurants. The ILWU has been involved in contentioux contract negotiations with hotel owner since it organizexdthe hotel's 450 workers in 2004. The ILWU said more than half of thosse workersare Filipino-American. The battle has gottenb increasingly contentious since August when HTH announced it would take back managemen t of the hotelon Dec. 1 withoug promising to rehire all who have had to reapply for their OutriggerEnterprises Group-affiliate PBH Management LLC had been managing the 837-room hote l since Jan. 1.
Robert "Mick" regional vice president of operations forHTH Corp., was not immediately available for comment. HTH also owns the Pagoda Hotellin Honolulu.
